Day 2: Explore the History of Charleston
10:00 AM - 2-Hour Private Historical Tour - Make this tour what you want. Take a moment to speak to your guide and they will truly design a tour just for you.
12:00 PM - Your guide will take you back to the hotel and provide you with recommendations for lunch in Charleston. Don’t go too far, as you will be joining the guide again for an afternoon trip to Patriots Point.
2:00 PM - 2-Hour Private Tour of Patriots Point and the Maritime Museum. Home to the USS Yorktown, the USS Laffey and the USS Clamagore. One of the most expansive and vast museums in Charleston. All three ships are veterans of WWII and there is an incredible array of aircraft and memorabilia to see.
Return to the hotel.
Dinner on your own. Speak to your host about restaurant recommendations. There is nothing better than a local perspective.
Day 3: Charleston’s Historic Plantations
10:00 AM – Half Day Guided Tour to one of Charleston’s Historic Plantations. Take a moment to escape the city and visit the majestic homes of a bygone era. Don’t know which plantation to visit? Your guide will happily make a recommendation based on your wishes.
1:00 PM - Return to the hotel.
Afternoon at your leisure
Recommended Activities:
A casual walk around the city. Visit Legare, Church, the College of Charleston Campus and the South & East Battery
Take a carriage tour
Aiken-Rhett House or the Nathanial Russell House
Fort Sumter
The Old Slave Mart Museum
The Old Exchange and Customs House
Dinner on your own to celebrate your last night in Charleston. Perhaps you can grab a drink at Fiat Lux on the rooftop of the hotel before you head out for dinner. Remember you have $100 to spend at the hotel before the night is out.
